vi. So far as CCTV footage containing in USB is concerned, its veracity would be determined after its forensic analysis
which is not done so far.
vii. Investigation of the case is complete. Further detention of petitioners/accused would not serve any purpose. Bail cannot be withheld merely as punishment. Keeping in view the above-said discussion case of petitioners/accused fall within the ambit of further inquiry.

It is a settled principle of criminal administration of justice that mere involvement in the heinous offences is no ground for refusing bail. If the case of the accused falls within the ambit of further inquiry then he would be entitled to the concession of bail not as a concession but as a matter of right. Reliance is placed upon SCMR 2016 page 1520, YLR 2017 page 335, MLD 2020 page 52 Lahore and PCr.LJ 2020 page 776 Lahore.
So, keeping in view the above discussion instant post-arrest bail application filed by the petitioners/accused Muhammad Usman Munir and Munir Ahmed is accepted subject to submission of surety bonds of wroth Rs.50,000/- each with one surety each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial court. Needless to say, he's the above-given observations are tentative in nature and would not affect the trial proceedings. Copy of this order be sent to the learned trial court for information.
